Congreso de Latinos Unidos, Inc. – Philadelphia’s leading non-profit that works to strengthen Latino communities – commemorates its 35th anniversary in 2012. The celebration gets underway on Saturday, March 17 at Congreso’s sixth annual Gala Latina, themed ”En Mi Viejo San Juan,” where 500 of the region’s leading business and civic leaders will come together to celebrate the vibrant culture of Puerto Rico. Philadelphia’s iconic Hyatt at the Bellevue will be transformed to feature the wonders of this magnificent island and all its distinct sounds, delectable tastes, and stunning sights.
